Corrections Policy
When a story is wrong, it is fixed in place with a visible note. Here is how to report an error and what happens next.
Reporting an error
Send the story link and what is wrong to editor@techailatest.news. A link to the primary source that shows the correct fact speeds things up. Reports are read every working day.
What happens
A factual error is corrected in the story, the update time changes, and a note at the end of the story says what was corrected and when. A reference page that carried the wrong fact is updated at the same time. A story that should not have been published is kept online with an editor's note rather than deleted, unless it causes harm.
What is not a correction
Typos and wording changes that do not change a fact are fixed without a note. A company changing its product after we reported it accurately is a new story, not a correction.
